Hi
I will be touring Sydney in a couple of weeks time. Where can I find music scores in Sydney? I'm searching for both clarinet and guitar scores.

Zephyr Music in Hume Street, Crows Nest. Easy to get to from the city; 15 mins by public transport- 273 bus from Wynyard.

Zephyr, as above, is one of the few big stores. Allan's in Pitt St Sydney is the other. Tarantella at Gordon can also be useful. For band music you could try Black Mark's in Bexley, the other big band music supplier is Muso's Media run by Chris Earl but is located on the outskirts of Melbourne. Be prepared to pay at both Allan's and Zephyr. The print music business here is controlled by the wholesalers, both of the above are wholesalers and retailers. The other two big wholesalers are Hal Leonard and Warner Chappell but they generally don't sell to the public. For second hand music you can try DaCapo music in Glebe Point Rd Glebe. They have all sorts of stuff and also have a website so you can be pre prepared.

The best sheet music shop in the South is Music on the Move 360 Forest Rd Hurstville Ph: 9585 1656, they have a great selection in a small shop and the prices aren't a rip off.
