 Old A clarinet

I have an old A clarinet that plays very well except that third line b and third space c are flat. Any suggestions? Will a shorter bell help? Are there any adjustments that can be made?

You may have to adapt your emboucher to the instrument.

By the way, does this old A clarinet have a low Bb key? If it does, you might verify that it is properly regulated.

I don't believe that embouchure gyrations are the answer. I would suggest trying a few different bells (not necessarily shorter, but just different, as different brands and/or models of bell in the same length can play differently). First, though, I would try raising the opening height of the bottom two pads on the clarinet -- if they're not opening high enough, that will cause those notes to be flat.
