Does anyone knows the differences between buffet festival and r13 prestige.

Tone hole placement is supposedly different on the Festival, and the register vent is 1 mm higher. Many claim the Festival has a more powerful and more flexible sound, while other say it's not as powerful as the R-13. Guess it depends on who you ask on what day.

A college professor I know thinks that the Festivals are really out of tune. Of course, everyones got an opinion (and they all contradict each other) so who knows?

I know! The college teacher I'm speaking of made made my friend (who studies with him) buy a new clarinet (she played a Festival) because of tuning issues that he claimed existed. Personally, I think it'd be easier to get a new teacher! ; )
