I had my wisdom tooth removed once before and I will have to remove another one soon next month. I felt the pain once, but I wonder if it's okay to continue playing the clarinet after the surgery, like a day after or so? Comments anyone?
Thanks,

Not to disagree with Bob A ... but it really depends on what your oral surgeon says.

I'm saying that if I decided to go against my doctor's orders and play for it anyway. It would be a risk, wouldn't it?

I would ask your Dentist what you can and cannot do. I had all 4 of mine out and I was not able to do strenuous exercise for a couple weeks because I had stitches in my gums. They don't want your blood pressure to rise because of bleeding. I think you will live not playing for a week or two. Best to follow orders than cause more problems and longer time of not playing.
