I seem to recall Buddy was working on isolating Artie Shaw's clarinet solos and playing them with digital recreations. Anyone out there have any idea what I am talking about? I was telling a friend about this and couldn't remember where I had heard about it.

About a year ago (last August), this was mentioned on DeFranco's web site as something he was planning. In fact, there was even a picture of DeFranco and Shaw together discussing it.

As this project has yet to appear, perhaps it never got started...GBK
