Do any of you know of anyone who makes a combination case for a Bb clarinet and oboe?
Alternately, does anyone know how to alter either a double clarinet case or an oboe/english horn combo case to accommodate the Bb clarinet/oboe combination?
Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Lisa

The best bet is to adapt a cor anglais oboe case. Put the clarinet where the cor goes. You will need some packing or have an upholsterer re-line it to fit a clarinet. I have seen it done. The likelihood of finding what you want ready made is small there is no market.

I got one of those camera-cases with easy-to-shape foam filling. You could adapt that to suit any combination.

I figured that I would not find a ready-made case, but I knew someone on this board would know if one existed! Thanks for the tips.

Terry Horlick is a master a making cases for unusual combinations of clarinets so his efforts might be if use to you. Maybe GBK has the link for his "case by the numbers presentation."
