 different models noblet:old & new

I'd like to know the difference between D Noblet....Noblet....N? Noblet.....
Sculpted keys...in line keys.....What makes a near pro model and what makes a student model. Serial numbers seem strange. How old is a Noblet with a serial number of 3583? What if any worth are the older models?
I know they're above the Normandy. But not quite enough to be called a Leblanc even though they're made by Leblanc. Some are Paris. Are any USA? I've seen some with sculpted keys....others with in line yet straight keys not the Leblanc patented sculpted keys. What are there....ten different models?
I know....a lot of ?? But Noblet seems a strange breed.

I like Noblets and have two and soon three. I'm not the expert, however.
Yes, strange numbering scheme. Personally don't consider them a strange breed. Hope you get your answers as I'll be interested too.
