Olive oil will make the wood shiny, however, it is not a popular treatment.

Having bought a older Leblanc a few years ago I too wanted to shine up my clarinet but I am not comfortable removing the everything, keys, etc.
So I bought a excellent wood cleaner and polish (from the Doctor) this has really made a difference.

Good Luck

Sue

I've also used the Doc's wood cleaner and polish, and it has my almost 40-year-old clarinet looking like new! (Not that I ever saw it when it was new, but it looks like what a new clarinet would look like . . .)
