Hi,
Anybody know who sells a case for a Buffet full boehm clarinet? It has the low Eb and articulated G#, and no donut key. The problem is the upper joint is shorter and the lower joint is longer than a standard Bb.
Thanks
Mark

Try Selmer they have cases made for all sorts of things. If not you may have to adapt something.

that's kind of funky (earthy) and makes one a Bob the Builder of music ... if you've got even the slightest "fix it man/woman" abilities (which I don't, unfortunately).

I have a Selmer Full Boehm, but the case it came with (actually its original case) was beat up on the inside. The styrofoam no longer held the horn in place. I ripped out the whole inside, but realized I wouldn't be able to finish rebuilding it myself. Right now a friend will be finishing it. I think he's going to use some sort of expandable foam. He's an instrument repair tech, and only wants a couple of cd's as payment. Since I work in a cd store part-time, that should be a snap.
I do wish I could get a brand-spankin'-new case, but the cost would be prohibitive.
