I am wondering if anyone knows of a recording of the Tomasi Concerto? I've checked several sources (including www.arkivmusic.com, which I'm told has pretty much everything), and I can't find it. Anybody know of a recording?

PS - Even if it's a recording of a recital or something, I would just really like to hear this pieces... Let me know. Thanks

It is on a Koch/ Schwann CD numbered 3-1026-2. Try Amazon.com under clarinet and Tomasi and you should get something.

No stores have it. Amazon.com labels it "out of stock", and no other places even list it in their catalogs. Any know of a place that has it, or is this a lost cause = ) ?
Thanks

I don't know if anyone cares about this, but I'll go ahead and tell you anyway. I contacted a classical CD store in Houston today and the owner told me that Koch/Schwann no longer distributes it's classical music in the US.
This is really a shame. I guess I don't really have any questions, but I just hate that so many great things are being taking away.... I buy lots of classical CDs, beyond that I guess there's not much I can do about it!
Thanks for listening

ps - the shop owner says he can find it for me, which is great. It's nice to have a USEFUL shop for classical music somewhere. Most store's classical sections is limited to a best of mozart CD (and some brandenburg concertos, if you're lucky) = )
