Does anybody know anything about the Vandoren M30-13 mouthpiece? I had the chance to play one, and liked it, but can not find anything about it on the Vandoren website or from Woodwind and Brasswind.

Burt,
It has a long facing and a 115/100mm tip opening. You may have noticed the wider tip rail. Vandoren says that it closely duplicates the sonority of the B40, using harder reeds.
Hope this helps

The M30 was made for Jon Manasse as was the m15. It is the same take as the M15 but this one also allows you to project more with the same benifits. Personally i think the m30 is the great mouthpiece on the vandoren line. As for the M30 13, i use it becuase it works but for the most part people play flat who use it. I would go for the traditional m30 when its open to the general market here in the US.
Also. This mouthpiece is really designed to be used with traditional reeds, not the V12 as it was designed this way.
