 OU Clarinet Symposium

Hats off to Dr. Etheridge for yet another great symposium! This was my 4th year to attend/participate and everyone I've talked to (pros and amateurs) all agree that the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. I had a great weekend and learned quite a bit... as usual. I thought I would open up this forum for everyone to discuss their individual high points... Mine would be 1) new mouthpiece by Brad Behn!!! 2) lots of great new music to work on that I got from Luyben 3) I met many new and interesting people and got to chat with a few of the performers, 4) finally, I was able to hear a lot of new music that was performed very well and was very entertaining.

I had only one low point.... my car broke down on the way home! Argh! But I'm home safe and sound now...

See you next time around!

I wish I could have gone this year! I went last year for the first time..it was actually my first big trip. It was amazing last year and I'm sure it was great this year too. I'm glad you had a great time!:)
