Saw this group late last night on TV. About 30 Woodwinds plus 2 drummers and a string bass. They were playing Irving Berlin. Can anyone tell me about them? Thanks

Katfish --
A search for "beau hunks" using the google search engine turned up a Dutch group that might be the one you saw. They started out trying to recreate the music from the Laurel and Hardy films. Perhaps they are now broadening their focus (and increasing their size).

It sounds like the Dutch band famous for re-recording Laurel & Hardy tunes as well as all of those songs form The Little Rascals. What do you want to know? I have liner notes from their CD's I'd be happy to find for you.

This is definitely the same group. They also have an album of music by Raymond Scott. Terrific period group!

Saw them in a "music video" on Classic Arts Showcase (cable channel). They were playing Irving Berlin music. Good group playing a jazzy swing style arrangement. Had 2 clarinets.
