How can I tell which model a particualr Buffet Clarinet is? I'm looking at a used Buffet, serial number 241905. The dealer says it's a R-13 Bb........ i can't find any model number desiganted on it. What is something like this worth used, in great shape, with case?
thanks

If there is no model designation, then it is an R13. The other models will have their designation at the end, I believe (e.g.241905E12 if yours were an E12). At least, that is what I have read elsewhere (my R13 shows only the serial number)

My buffet has a serial no. only and I have been told it is an R13 but it also has UK printed on it.Does this make any difference in identification? I paid about $400 new in 1975 so the price is about right for it to be an R13! Anyway it plays great especially with a Moenig barrel
