Boy, those Brancher Leggerio gold plated ligatures sure look pretty on the WWBW catalog and website. Anyone try one? Any opinions?
Thanks!

I have the silver one. Easy to put on and use; satisfactory without any outstanding positive effects. Why are you so fascinated by gold?

I don't like the look of tarnished silver and I hate polishing/cleaning silver!

Just because we might like them doesn't mean you will. I know you've probably heard that before but it's the truth. The only way to know if it's good is to get one on trial.

I bought a silver one within the past year. It's okay, but I always go back to the old tried and true Bonade ligature. I keep the Brancher on one of my mouthpieces. The only advantage I find is that it tends to free up the altissimo a bit.
