Hi
Are these two stores under the same management?
Why do they have the same inventory and prices?
The items listed on both websites appear identical.
And items like the Opus II appear and disappear on the same days on both websites.....
Anyone knows why is the Opus II cheaper than the orginal Opus? And why are B-Stock items higher priced than new items of the same model.
I'm getting confused by those two websites.

I think that Music123 is their eBay outlet. I've purch. from both, i.e. Music123 on eBay and WWBW by phone and internet. My impression has always been that their(wwbw) "B" stock items are overpriced. Don't be confused.

The mouthpiece return policy differs.
WWBW responded to an email stating that they accept mpc returns plus cleaning and modest stock fee.
Music123 will NOT return mpc.
I think they share a common inventory and distribution center which allows for volume buying and reduces stocking/distr. costs. This is smart biz management, but I am not sure whether they are indeed the same corporation.
Heres a clue......do they trade on NASDAY or NYSE?

While I don't know if there is a relationship between the 2 stores, I suspect that they are separate corporations as Music 123 charges sales tax only in NJ (according to their site and my experience dealing with them.) WW&BW does not charge NJ sales tax.
Music 123 claims to be an offshoot of Zapf's music which was founded in Philly in the 1920s. I believe they now are headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ, a Philly suburb. WW&BW is in South Bend, Indiana.

FWIW,
I asked Music123 that question (why are their websites identical?) about a year ago. They told me that they purchase their website from WW&BW but that they are totally separate companies.

Zapfs was a great place in an old Germanic neighborhood in Philly. They had tons of mpcs. and let you try them there. You could spend all day there looking at gizmos and sheet music then venture up 5th street below Olney ave. and grab a cigar at Max's tobacconist....very cool back then, and candy from one of the shops before hopping the S or K bus to head home.
WWBB also claims a long history...so this seems to be an internet relationship for the purpose of consolidating ordering and inventory....smart move from a Biz. standpoint.

They are the same store basically. 2 weeks ago I saw Buffet Elite was in sotck both in WW&BW and Music123. A week ago both suddenly had only 2 Buffet Elite left. Now both have only 1 left. Coincidence? I don't think so...
The difference is WW&BW has an actual store, Music123 only receive mail orders.

I was talking to one of the representitives from WWBW and they said that "Music 123" is a sister company and is only a warehouse.
