 Old Clarinet

I was recently cleaning out my aunt's house and I came across an old silver clarinet in her closet. I have done a re-pad on it and flabarghastingly, it plays quite well. It was made by "The TOWER Corp" in Elkhart Indiana, and the serial number is AE 3542. I was just wondering how old this is and also, the case is rather decrepit so I want to get a replacement, but I haven't any idea as to where to buy a case for a single piece Bflat clarinet. I was thinking a soprano sax case but I'm not sure. Thanks so much.

Try Ebay. Some of the cases are worth more than the horns in them. I'm getting ready to bid on a couple of low priced clunckers now just to get the cases and some spare parts. I recently bought one from a resale (junk shop) for $15 because it was obviously broken beyond repair. I ended up with a 2rv mouth peice, a Harrison lig., a fairly decent case and enough parts to fix two clarinets for some kids at the school.
