Does anybody know of a good sheet music version of "Mood Indigo" by Duke Ellington on a B flat horn? Thanks ahead of time.

Mood Indigo? Isn't that what the cow did after eating the blueberry patch?

This is very possible. Maybe the cow wrote it?

You can download it and print for $4.95 from:

These are the original lyrics (Sinatra):

It is in "Thelonius Monk Plays Standards, Volume 2", $19.95:

Most of these seem to be the piano music. Do they contain the clarinet solo too?

The original was not a clarinet solo, it was a trio of muted trumpet, trombone, and clarinet on the bottom (Barney Bigard). Later versions featured Harry Carney on bass clarinet, but it was almost always voiced as a trio. This doesn't mean you can't play it as a solo, though. For whatever sheet music you get, if there's no clarinet part find the melody line and play it on clarinet by transposing every note up a whole step (or if your transposition chops aren't there, just write it out yourself).

Do you want music where you would play along with a CD, or do you need piano accompaniment.

If you want a play-along, Jamey Aebersold's lower-numbered Duke Ellington volume has it.

If that version doesn't suit you, you could also do a title search under instrumental music at J. W. Pepper.
