Hi,
I need some help. I just bought a used (about 2 years old) in mint condition Buffet Double clarinet case (A, Bb). The problem is there are no keys (the case is unlocked). This case uses the SUDHAUS key system and there is a 4 letter code on the lock. I have 2 questions; 1) Can a key be made from this key code? and 2) Who makes replacement keys for these cases?
Thanks
Mark

1) yes
2) Any good luggage store can order you new keys. Sudhaus is a well-known lock company for fine luggage.

Any locksmith should be able to replicate a key just by examining and measuring the lock. In my experience you can open Buffet cases with a paperclip. Remember, a lock is only there to keep the honest people out.
