How do Grand Concert regular blanks compare to Vandoren Traditionals? Thanks for replies in advance...

I find the Grand Concert Select (not Thick Blank) a little softer than Van Doren regular (blue box). I also find them much nicer to use.

According to a little card that I got from a Rico rep, yes the standard GC are slightly softer that traditional Vandoren.

I've found that the Rico GCS tend to be more consistent than Vandoren. I used thick blank, however, so the regular may not be the same. Overall, I prefer the GCS over the Vandoren
