How do you become a bulletin board "regular?" Is it defined by number of posts or the length of time one has been active on the BB? Is there any relation to being a member of the Buffet Mafia?
Addendum: What are the top ten "signs" that you are BB regular?

Great addendum! I don't remember having had this question before. Some excellent answers, although maybe they define fanatics more than regulars.
For a serious answer to the first part, since (much like a newspaper) there is something new here every day, I would define a regular as someone who reads the board at least once a day (maybe excepting vacations and during times of life overload). The "visible" regulars are those who post frequently; however, I don't think you have to post regularly, or at all, to be a regular.
Surely, one of the (not funny, but true) signs that you are a regular is that you have woodwind.org bookmarked.

Hey - I'm a "regular" but it doesn't mean I spend my entire life on the BB - I'm only an occasionally poster (now) and only log on once a week or so. Also, I'm certainly NOT a sheep (meaning I don't play on a buffet clarinet - at least not until I find one that matches my Leblanc's tone over the throat-notes).
Also - I've been bitten by Mark for Equine postings in the past, I've learned my lesson and moved on ...

Forget the boss, he understands - it's switching the computer screen when the husband walks by!!
Oh, and it's buying the "Cambridge Companion to the Clarinet" and Pino's "The Clarinet and Clarinet Playing" in anticipation of long summer days reading in the sunshine, just because they've been highly suggested here.
Not to mention wondering if Ken Shaw is on vacation or in the hospital because we haven't seen a recent post.

You know what the New Langwell Index is. (Bonus points. You keep one near the computer so you can post tidbits to questions about obscure brands.)
You go Pavlovian when certain topics come up and you spew the same old reasons why, for example, metal clarinets should not be made into lamps.

3--You sit in front of the computer with your popcorn and long for an ad so that you can go to the bathroom.
4--You are on a first name basis with other posters.
5--Your home page is set to the BB.
6--You've been invited to Mark Charette's house for dinner.
7--eBay no longer matters.
8--You re-read postings in the wee hours of the morning when no one else is reading the BB and posting.
9--You are aghast when you know a clarinetist who is unaware of the BB.
10--You play your orchestra music while your computer sits next to your music stand so that you don't miss the newest post.

Serious: Checking the board on a regular basis I think would make you a regular.
However I would start to re-evaluate whether you're a regular or a "fanatic" when you start to not only bookmark the woodwind.org homepage, or the BBoard specific page, but when you decide to take it a step further and bookmark specific threads with information that perhaps you don't need personally, but found interesting. And you seperate these threads in your bookmarks under seperate folders under, lets say for example, Clarinet Model Reviews, Embouchre, Mouthpieces, Reeds not to mention the various subfolders that I ha . . . . um . . . . someone might have under each of those categories which further divide those under specific type of clarinet (A, Bb, Eb, Bass, CB), or the subcategories of specific brands (the big 4, brands of reeds, etc).
Of course I'm not a fanatic. I swear.

You are a regular if you can immediately identify the author of the following post (without peeking):
"serial numbers"
I am intrigued by serial numbers (SNs). I wonder whether other BB members have the same affliction and constantly play around with theirs. For example, I have discovered that you get my age, if you divide my SN by the last four digits of my SSN, then add my house number squared, and finally subtract my reed strength (rounded to the nearest odd number, if necessary). I would be interested in hearing whether others have run into similar amazing coincidences.

After a concert, you run right up and ask the clarinetist what setup (s)he is using.

Let's take a scientific measure:
I did a few searches with the following criteria
search the number of posts by author X, over the past 60 days:
Sylvain:
27 -> 1 post every 2 days, not bad.
D Dow:
124 -> 2.0666666666666 posts a day we're getting there
GBK:
234 -> 3.9 posts a day, hmmm in a 12 hour day that's a post every 3 hours pretty much.
And our Grand Master Mark Charette:
289 -> 4.8166666666666 posts a day...
So if you get more than 4.81666666666666666, you should go get couseling
