Swabs - not just navy men!

I have an old GEM black swab (100$ pure silk) but its torn in the middle like the curtin in the temple (Bible reference)...anyway it's in bad shape and I'm looking to get another one.
Which one:

The Black “Legend” Swab – DA1 $9.00 from the http://www.doctorsprod.com/accessories.html

or another GEM swab - $ 8.00 from WeinerMusic - NY

A dollar difference...your thoughts.

Thanks

sidenote: I just recently was introduced to the doctor's products and he responded to a message on my recommendation of using lanolin on the corks saying its not advisable. He was very scientific about it which impressed me to say the least.

The approximate comparisons:

The Black Legend Swab (from the Doc) has a 3'' longer cord.

When flat, the pattern of the of the Gem swab is shaped like a large equilateral triangle (approx 24'' x 24'' x 24''). The Black Legend swab is shaped more like a "paddle" (narrower but approximately 7" longer).

Either will do the job excellently. I like the Black Legend due to its longer length and a bit less material going through the bore...GBK (yes, I know I need to get a life)

I know nothing about his "Oiling Rig™ – DA 13,14,15,16,17". What on earth is that?

However The "Doctor" is very well known for his very scientific evaluations of products, for very thorough research before offering a product, for his vast knowledge on any issues chemical (and of organisms, cork and timber), for his ready sharing of this knowledge, for fair pricing, and for utter honesty and integrity.

The packaging may not be the flashest in the market, but the products are up there with the very best.

There are very few marketers I would trust as much as Omar.
