Welcome Sue - I have a Dyn 2 and have worked on a Dyn H, there may have been more. My impression from these, other LeBs, and their publications is that they were among the large-bore [15.0 mm] top models of the 50-60s, giving competition to Selmer's Centered Tone et al series, while Buff was developing their modified-bore R 13. My D 2 is a 18/7 model having the Pete Fountain additions of fork Eb/Bb and artic. C#/G#. It plays nearly as well as my L7 [1980], a 17/6 and slightly smaller bore top model, which seems to have a bit less resistance! with the same mp/reed setup. I like L's and Sels as you can see. Theyre good ones. Don
