What do you mean by "enharmonic scale"?

I suspect ctt489 is thinking of playing through the range of notes produced by sticking with one fingering and producing all the harmonics possible.
I do this a lot as an exercise for controlling high notes generally and recommend it as such.
What I do is to play the bell-note, low E, then obtain the first available overtone in the usual way with the speaker-key to get B4.
Now the fingers stay put, fingering middle B you can obtain the following series of notes: G5 C6 E6 G6 A6 D7.
At first it's best to just see which high notes come out then aim for the others until you can control, at will, which note is produced. When you have that control you can practise by playing bugle-calls. If you can do that it makes those high notes seem so much easier when you can use the 'correct' fingering.

Of course, he may mean something else............

Jez,

My teacher has introduced this to the folks in his studio this year..It's quite an interesting concept if you've never heard about it before, but I have noticed that when I do practice them, things in the higher registers come out a lot easier because the throat position is correct. I tend to voice things too high in that register and that technique brings me back to where I need to be.

For starting out (or forever, for that matter) you likely will find it easier if you half-hole L1 above the Clarion register.

John
