"Band Instrument Repairing Manual" by Erick D. Brand is the standard.
Available from: http://www.ferreestools.com/ and other locations.
Beware: No manual will teach you everything. ...GBK

I recently got a repair kit from MusicMedic (a sponsor) with a booklet of instructions. While the booklet is very simple, it nicely complements Lawrence Frank's repair manual by assuming that one knows nothing and starting with absolutely basic descriptions.

"A Guide to Repairing Woodwinds" by Alan Saska published by Roncorp Publications. I bought this book from Muncy and have used the info in it with a lot of success. The book is simple to follow and has lists of materials you will need and where to find them.
