Any chance of getting a page that links to major symphony's websites in various areas? For instance, in the tri-state, I have NO idea what these symphonies are called?
I think this would be a good page to link seeing as many of us could go there, check the orchestra that we will be near (if we go on vacation we can check an orchestra in that area) and perhaps see if they are playing anything we'd be interested in hearing.
Would this be too much free advertising? Or would it be too "political" if some groups aren't represented because someone felt they weren't "professional" enough?

Consdering this is a site used by many people from many places on the globe - decided which orchestra is better is almost impossible to ascertain. In fact, if you just want to find your local (professional) symphony orchestra most of them have their own web site.
Google is a great search engine for finding out this sort of stuff:
