While at Weiner's Music in Mineola a few week back, I heard a marvelous clarinetist in the test room next to mine. He exhibited remarkable tone and breath control. I'd love to talk to him and find and what he played and how he did it, but he left before I could. I was told he was from the former Yugoslavia. Could he be a BB board reader? Anyone ever have a similar experience?

As I tried to detail below [Big Easy Visit/Report], Doreen plays up a storm [on an E 13] IMHO with her [and hubby's] group busking in Jackson Square. Thanx to who-ever informed me, we listened on 2 afternoons to Jazz/Dixie . To me she gives Pete F, and other cl'ists, a real run-for-the-money particularly up in the altissimo!!! Bought a CD and talked with her! Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
