jez, what are your plans with your oehler instruments? Are you going to use them in the orchestra and do the others change too for certain repertoire?
Yamaha, how much did you pay for the pair?

I have an old Oscar Oehler Bb that I use occationally for chamber music. I never dared to suggest to my colleagues to use it in the orchestra though. However, we have been discussing to get sets of German system instruments for German repertoire to be fair to the trumpets who always use German trumpets.

Personally I like this devellopment if it proceeds.
