i just found this cool mouthpiece on ebay for liek $20.
it says DJ with a H3 scratched on .
could DJ stand for dan johnston??
i wonder what kinda facing it has.
if u know about this mp, what kinda reeds/reedstrenghts do u recommend that i use with it?

The Johnston H3 facing was designed with Stanley Hasty. The tip opening is approximately 1.15. The rails are fairly wide, and the facing is asymmetrical...GBK

besides the fact that the rails are wide and teh asymmetrical facing...which vandoren mouthpiece do you think it is most similar to?

I play a V12 #3 1/2 (shaved down a little) on mine.
The H3 is not for everyone (asymmetric facings may work for you - may not)
If you're not in love with this one, I have a few trades available.
