I use the thin ones too, but I also think that it all depends on what you prefer...

Some of my students have the thicker kinds of patches, but they don't look like the right shape to be the Bay ones. Are there others out there? Or are they electrical tape or something...these kids pick all kinds of things up from their band directors and then can't tell me anything about them!
