I know the reeds but didn't know until today that he was a clarinetist (I know, I'm in the dark, btu at least I know now!) While looking at possible clarinet teachers, I read that one was taught by Mitchell Lurie. How long ago did he teach? Was he mainly a teacher r performer or what? If anyone has a website about him that would be cool too! I am very curious! Thanks

So many instruments to play........so little time to play them!

I believe he still *is* a clarinetist. He was in the audience of a master class I attended last fall. I don't know what he's up to, but he's still around. :)
