Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had found anywhere on the net to download backing tracks for the clarient ????
I've got a midi player on my pc which is great for slowing down midi files to play along with - it even allows for instruments to be muted, but the difficulty is finding midi's that have a clarinet part in them in the first place - I've found a few but it takes ages cos you have to download the song/tune you like first in order to see if there's a clarinet part in it and if there isn't, as is usually the case, then discard it and start again.
I guess music with say a flute in it could be transposed into another key for the clarinet - which the programme allows to a pouint but I wouldn't know where to start with this !!
Anyone found a way round this perchance ????
Regards
Sue

Sue: You might be interested to know that the music for the Associated Board exams is available on CD (ordinary audio CD, not CD-ROM). So you can hear what they are supposed to sound like, then play along with them, and then, when you get confident, play along with the piano-only tracks.
I don't know whether you can load audio on to your PC and slow it down.

If there are so many people on this board unwilling or unable to have a civil and balanced discussion about important issues, then I shan't bother to post here any more.
To the great relief of many of you, no doubt.
