Saw an O'Brien crystal MPC on ebay. Described as having an "off center bore". What is that???? Thanks...

The bore is literally crooked going through from the chamber towards the tenon. My personal theory (completely unsubstantiated) is that the blanks were poorly molded and O'Brien's solution was to advertise a flaw as a planned "feature". But I have no evidence of that (I'm just a skeptic...)

Thanks Dave....
It sure does sound weird. Can't figure what benefit it would be unless you blow out the side of your mouth....
