Hi everyone...
Mark, I couldn't help but read your post about the Interlochen Arts Academy Clarinet Studio. I have been there for the past five summers, and adore it. Also, i have quite a few friends who are now studying at the Academy. I was just wondering about all of your Interlochen experiences...

Mary Beth - I didn't go, my son did. He was at the Academy for the past 3 years studying with Richard Hawkins, and is now at Cleveland Inst. of Music studying with Cohen & Nereim. He's got all the experiences, not me :^) (He did spend this past summer working at the scholarshop).

Ken Shaw, a frequent contributor here, has a few stories about the times he spent at Interlochen a "couple" of years back.

I studied with Richard Hawkins for a few weeks my first summer there. Needless to say, I ended up switching teachers. Some of my friends worked at the scholarshop too! Where are you from?

I live in Novi. The actual "Sneezy" computer sits in the Observer & Eccentric Newspaper building off of I-96 in Livonia!
