lol. I met some chicagoiens once. My band (in MA) was going on tour in Canada, and performed at some regional festivals where some other high schools all over NorthAmerica. Anyways, while changing in our tour bus, a some Chicago Christian private school girl FLASHED us. LOL can you believe it? hot chick too. We met them later @ Niagra Falls. To keep me from being banned from this message board, i'll just say we had fun
hope you have as much fun as I did!

While you re performing, think of all the truely great players that have shared that same stage in the past--and enjoy your turn in doing so. Best of luck and have fun in the Big Windy.

Yes, Chicago (like Wisconsin) has **weather**--and that may be the very reason why Larry Combs plays Principal Clarinet with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Mitchelle Laurie stated that he "left Chicago (Principal Clarinet, CSO) because of the 'cold'. If I had stayed, maybe Larry would never have had the chance to become Principal." (as stated during a master class at the University of Wisconsin)
Dress warmly and plan for lots of wind on Michigan Ave. But enjoy!!!!!!
