 Quality of New Buffets
Author: Aussie Nick

Sorry for not posting/contributing in so long. I've moved city and haven't got the internet yet :( I'm having all sorts of problems in regards to Eb clarinets. I posted a while ago about RC Eb's etc etc, and now I want to try some R13's and Prestiges (or anything really) to replace my Patricola, but there seem to be none around, in both Melbourne and Brisbane. Both cities are waiting on shipments which were due ages ago. Anyhow, I have the option of getting a collegue of my new teacher to select an R13 Eb for me in Chicago and my teacher trusts this person 100%. I am interested in doing this, but he says that I really should send it to the Brannens as well because apparently Buffet aren't undercutting the tone holes anymore or something, and he made out that the quality is rapidly on the decline. Is this true from other peoples perspectives?
