A brief word to the wise...
Someone's at it again. I just received an eMail titled "yearly eBay Update error" advising me to click the link and answer the questions to provide yearly "information's necessary" to not cancel my account.
No, I did not click the link, I did not pass Go, I did send it directly to the trash can
Just thought I'd let you know. eBay does not ask anyone for additional information once you have an account with them. Only you can make changes to your account information. They also do not send out notices in broken English.

What really scares me is these folks must get enough responses to make it worth their while, even when ebay says time and time again they do not ask for more information.

After putting junk mail like this in your trash can, it is also advisable to empty the trash completely. Same for deleted emails as they are stored (at least on NetScape) in the "trash " intil it is ultimately emptied by you. Unwanted "virus" messages can still do their "work" from your trashed email repository.
I just think that it is best to remove unwanted junk mail/ads and suspect emails (especially ones from senders you do not recognize) from you computors hard drive as completely as possible. I also, periodicly, trash the "cookies" that are routinly sent out by websites visisted. Ya never know.............
OK--back to the clarinet (the other love of my life)

Good tips, William. Thanks. Yeah, I went back and made sure I'd emptied the trash. Now, I agree, let's play some more duets))
