 Lelandais Mouthpiece Question
Author: brenda siewert

I just purchased a vintage Lelandais mouthpiece that is white. It looks like the Lelandais/Chedevilles in every other respect. It's also got "White Symphony" across the bottom. It sounds nice and has great response in the altisimo, but I hadn't seen any white ones before and have done a search online with no results for this particular mouthpiece.

I guess I'm the only one interested in this question. But, I did look again and read all the great information given by Greg Smith and others about the Lelandais/Chedeville company.

This mouthpiece has a funny curve to the table. It really does those klezmer "slides" with ease. First mouthpiece I've ever owned that made that work better. I'm guessing that perhaps it was designed for jazz.
