Can anyone verify this as a Selmer?

Richard,
Why not just ask the seller as he is very experienced and considered reliable?

YES, since he is a "fellow OKIE", friend, experienced cl'ist AND BBoarder. I have a Clarion and several O'Briens which bear very similar markings. Its quite possible that O'B made these Sels, since considerable [different] technique is needed, IMHO. Don

Richard,
I have a Selmer HS** crystal mouthpiece. My mouthpiece has HS** etched on the table and no other markings. Also mine has a brass ring on the barrel end.

AFAIK, the Selmer Clarion crystals were made by O'Brien at least through the mid 1960s. HS** facing would be similar to an O'Brien 4 or 5.
