Yay! My clarinet got fixed. I wasn't quite sure what was wrong with it... I think one of the keys didn't close tight enough or something...the pads maybe? But, that is in the past now! My baby is fixed! If only clarinets could have babies...maybe they'd be e-flat clarinets or something.
Wouldn't that be cool? Lol...
Anywhoo...I need to start practicing more now that I have my clarinet back. I have absolutely no excuse. Horrible me! I'm horrible!
Lol.
Yay!

"If only clarinets could have babies"
That would be cool--then perhaps we could clone the "good" ones and all sound like Larry Combs. (also LOL)

Isn't it fabulous to know that it's not always YOU if your playing sounds bad?

A horn in tip-top condition is always more exciting to play and surely promotes inspiration. Whenever I send my horns up to Bill and Linda for brannenizing, and no matter how much I'm convinced I'll get a better horn back in return I still cringe making out the check ... ouch, it's expensive! But invariably when getting it back the pain abates and I serenade the night away like a kid in a candy store ... and oh sooo gloriously sore the next day!
