 Tartini Tempo

In the second movement of the Tartini Concertino, what is the generally accepted tempo? thanks!~*therese

I believe that when I played it I was shooting for dotted quater = 80. It usually fell short even m=70 would be good. The piece is a dance, so make it move in a waltz feel. Whatever tempo you take it must feel smooth and eazy.

I don't know what I was thinking when I first posted, but the last few days I have had time on my hands. I am in N.C. where they Huricane hit, and have been without power. I also can't just go over to my office and check the tempo markings I have, but I realized you are probably wondering how I could base a tempo off of the dotted quarter when the movement is either in one or three. The tempo of dotted half =80 is what I meant to say. This is the top pace and it can go a bit slower if needed.
