i have an old clarinet, made of wood. only marks on it are "Arcadia" in 3/8" (1 cm) high script on the front, "made in France" in 1/16" (2 mm) block letters on the back, and the serial number, which appears to be 8060. it all assembles tightly, and all fittings and pads appear to be good, but im not much of a clarinet player so i cant be sure. although i believe this is a trade name for "stentor", i cannot find any other information to help me identify the maker of value of this instrument. i'm planning on selling this instrument so want to know as much about it as possible. i wonder if anyone can be of any assistance in this matter? please email me if you can, or are interested. thank you. paul craig

Arcadia is not listed in my references. Stentor itself is a trade name ...
BTW - please either ask here or in an email, otherwise it's something like The Department of Redundancy Department ...
