The day before yesterday two Legere reeds reached me. I was astonished its performance although it seems still lacks in complicated harmonics realized only by genuine cane. I found two thigs. FYI.
1)Peeling-off the seal sticked on the stock makes it sound beter. It seems to obstruct my inverted Bonade's two inside rails to sit correctly.
2)I found why Mr.Legere does not recommend sanding it.(Even cutting it of course.) I tried to change its profile by a cutter. The result:from the cutting surface random fiber tissues came out. Yes, I ruined one Legere reed.
