Bettoney, Harry (b Oadby / GB 29 August 1867; d Boston 18 November 1953) WWl fl Boston 1901-1907.

<br>1893 as flautist, clarinettist moved to US; 1897 working for W.H. Cundy (see CUNDY-BETTONEY CO.); 1901 established as 'Bettoney-Wurlitzer', having purchased the workshop of E.H. WURLITZER, who remained as partner until his death in 1911; 1907, having bought the 'W.H. Cundy Co.'and'E.C. Ramsdell' (music publishers), established as 'Cundy Bettoney'.
