ABC News reports "Genoma Music," a 10 tune CD due out in February:
"Imagine the human genome as music. Unravel DNA's double helix, picture its components lined up like piano keys and assign a note to each. Run your finger along the keys.
Spanish scientists did that just for fun and recorded what they call an audio version of the blueprint for life."

Hmmmm. Last I checked, DNA was made up of only 4 base units.
That could make for some wierd music...only 4 notes.
Whose genome did they select? If you believe that genetics influences your proclivities, then if the genome is from an athlete, do we get a rendition of "take me out to ballgame?"
I hope mine decodes for the Premier Rhapsody.

Music is made up of repetitive occurrences so it's not that "far out" to associate it with DNA. Is it?
