i also need to know the proper way to take care of reeds. any procedures to make my tone sound better and anyother things that i need to know. can anyone send me information? thank you

Make sure your reeds are nice and wet before playing on it... after playing on it make sure to take it off and put it back in it's case....make sure there arn't any chips or crakcs in the reed...
