Just in case anyone was wondering about whatever came of those mouthpiece suggestions I was asking for a few weeks back (and I'm sure all of you are ;-)), I ordered some for trial from Muncy Winds and went with a Pete Fountain. The whole range sounds good, but what especially impressed me was the fullness and evenness of the high notes and the quick response. It also sounds good at all dynamic levels, and man can it have volume!!
