Has anyone ever heard of or played the song Philosopher's Stone? It's fairly new, I believe 2000, and we're playing it this year, and I might be playing the Eb part, I just want to know people's opinions of it.

You may be referencing Van Morrison's CD and its lead song. I enjoy improvising to Van's tunes and always felt that, instead of that over-subscribed saxophone, a clarinet would make a great addition.

So, it was encouraging to hear Van include a clarinet in a couple of his recent songs on his most recent CD.
