I see the front page for ClarinetFest is on line. Any idea when they are going to post a calendar of events?

I'm "they". As soon as I get it; I've asked the coordinator to send it in as soon as it's half ready.

Any decisions or projections on 2004 location yet?

Thank you they, I mean Mark. I imagine I will have a tough time deciding which events to attend. From what I hear about New Orleans makes me sad I didn't attend.

Jean, you're not alone, I couldn't attend either because of gigs and from what my collegues relayed I'll be kicking myself in the pants a good long time ... being a tradiitonal jazz enthusiast I missed a great deal what with Pete and the Dukes performing.

 East Coast......
May I be the first to nominate the Meadowlands Convention Center in
Secaucus, New Jersey. A stone's throw from Giant Stadium, six miles
from midtown Manhattan and Lincoln Center, only a few miles further from the Newark Preforming Arts Center, convenient ride to Newark Airport. More hotel rooms than you cna imagine. All but Giant Stadium can be reached by mass transportation. Am I a member of the Secaucus Chamber of Commerce? No, but I live 15 minutes away.

I might guess somewhere around the Baltimore, MD/Washington DC area for 2004 - but I'm truly just guessing.

Mark, you're resectfully 200 miles off and South ... check your Atlas. The Meadowlands Convention Center (adjacent to New York Giants Stadium) is Exit 15A off the New Jersey Tunrpike, a stone's throw from Newark. It's 10 minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel to NYC ... a good choice to consider. You can see Manhattan from it across the Hudson River.

Well, Ken, that means you know something I don't ... the location of the 2004 Clarinetfest ... which I didn't think was finalized.

And I don't believe The Meadowlands was on the original list, though it may have been added later.

Mark, I apparently got my signals crossed and am now straightened out.
