I used to 'leak' but with playing, after throat surgery, but that went away.
2.5 weeks isn't quite enough time, though, for full healing.

I would actually phone the dentist/surgeon and ask if increased pressure (Valsalva maneuver) would interfere with healing. If it doesn't hurt, and all bleeding's stopped ENTIRELY, and he/she says it's fine, then I don't see why you shouldn't play.
